Dr. Elly Sabiiti

Professor Elly Sabiiti is the Makerere University Program Coordinator for Study in Africa Program. He is currently a professor in Crop Sciences at Makerere University and is the former Dean of Faculty of Agriculture. He is Vice-President of the Uganda National Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Sabiiti was awarded the Vice Chancellors Innovations and Academic Excellence Award and the Presidential Excellence Award for Science, Technology Education. He is an internationally recognized expert involved in various organizations for savanna research and integration of pastures in crop-livestock production systems.
